Chocolate dipped pretzel rods

Hey babes. In preparation for an upcoming event, today I’m going to share a super easy way I dip my pretzel rods. These fun treats are so easy to make for parties and events. Let’s jump right in.

You'll need pretzel rods, melting chocolate or candy melts, and sprinkles.

The first thing you’ll want to do is melt your chocolate. You can do this several different ways. You can choose to microwave the chocolate in 30 sec intervals, do the double boiler method, or melt the chocolate in a candy melter. I like using the double boiler method. For this particular event, I’m using white candy melts, but you can use any flavor or color you’d like. For the double boiler method, all you need to do is pit some water in a pan and put another smaller pan over that one with the chocolate. The heat from the pan underneath will melt the chocolate on top. Once your chocolate is all melted, you’re ready for step 2.

The next step is dipping the chocolate. I like to use a spoon to coat the pretzel with my desired length. Then I’ll shake the extra chocolate and lay the pretzel on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. The parchment paper is for easy clean up. If you’re adding sprinkles, this is the time to add those too, while the chocolate is still wet. You can top your pretzels with nuts, candy, or any thing you want. It’s completely up to you!
